About
For the past 20 years, I’ve helped clients find ways to live happier and more fulfilling lives and have healthier relationships with themselves and others. My work draws on my extensive education, training, and clinical experience and combines insight-oriented psychodynamic principles with evidence-based treatments that have been scientifically validated to improve emotional well-being and resilience. This means that clients can feel confident that I will tailor my approach to their individual and unique needs.
After completing my residency at London Health Sciences Centre, I accepted a position as an Assistant Professor of Psychology at King’s University College. Initially I hoped to be able to share my passion for the field of psychology with young aspiring minds while also working clinically. As a professor, I enjoyed teaching courses in clinical, abnormal, counselling, and health psychology and supervising students in their research. However, while teaching was an amazing experience, working with clients in practice and supervising early career psychologists in developing their own therapy skills, confirmed that my clinical work ultimately provided the deepest sense of professional fulfillment. I then decided to pursue private practice full-time. These days I find great satisfaction in working with motivated individuals who are seeking personal, relational, and/or professional growth and who are ready to tackle the obstacles that are standing in the way of their success.
